Hero

Hero couldn't even walk at the shelter because he was so afraid. He had to be carried everywhere and was trembling in his own urine. We saw his story on social media and we also saw that nobody was stepping up to save him. So without even thinking, we got in the car and went to get him just hours before they were going to kill him. He was so afraid that he peed on himself and us when we picked him up. We carried him out of the shelter and promised him he would never need to be afraid again. We named him Hero so he could know how strong he was. He is now living with his sister and the most loving mom imaginable.
